Three Recipes for Turkey to try this Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving a week away, we’d thought we’d share a few Turkey recipes that are looking extra delicious this year.

SMOKE-FRIED TURKEY

First up, a SMOKE-FRIED TURKEY by Malcom Reed at howtobbqright.com. The combination of smoked turkey and crunchy fried skin has our mouths watering but admittedly, this recipe may be a bit involved for a novice Turkey-preparer. Be sure to read the instructions carefully.

Check out Malcom Reed’s recipe for Smoke-Fried Turkey HERE.

SPATCHCOCK TURKEY

Spatchcocking is already one of our favorite ways to prepare a whole chicken so why not apply it to a turkey? This recipe from Meat Church BBQ utilizes the infamous Holy Voodoo Rub (available in the shop) and the result is a delicious, show-stopper that is already partially carved! Get your bib out and enjoy this highly recommended recipe HERE.

HINT: This recipe also comes with a handy how-to video on how to spatchcock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uunkTCJJb54

APPLE-BRINED TURKEY

Fans of Apple Brine and Herb Butter listen up! This recipe from foodandwine.com is a scrumptious twist on a classic preparation. No smoker, grill, or fryer skills needed, this recipe requires only a 12-hour brine and a 2-ish hour roast in the oven. Check out this sure to please recipe HERE.
